LE RESTAURANT CLEMENT AU PENINSULA NEW YORK

The restaurant Clement matter flavors of northeast in the heart of the city, at the Peninsula New York.Unveiled in October 2013, the Chief Brandon Kida offers contemporary American cuisine combines perfectly with the urban environment, sophisticated and relaxed Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The adjoining bar Clement is a modern lounge area where guests can enjoy delicious cocktails and wine glasses.   

 

A Menu Inspired by the Seasons

Chef Kida, former Chief of the Asiatic and Lutèce in New York, has developed a menu tailored to the seasons along the lines of products from the northeastern region.

The Executive Pastry Chef Deden Putra prepares delicious desserts Clement, also using local ingredients, depending on the season.

Universal knowledge Sommelier Jared Fischer and his passion for wine, have established a complete and structured map, which has received the distinction "Best of Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator 2014.

Design Bureau Yabu Pushelberg

Yabu Pushelberg, timeless and artistic interior designers for the hotel, restaurant and retail worldwide for 30 years, wanted to make an exceptional Clement in New York. The restaurant is made up of both a stylish bar, offering an intimate and larger spaces, providing an ideal setting for breakfasts, lunches and dinners for animated.

 

Yabu Pushelberg also appealed to artists to design unique elements and finishes that have been integrated into the space of Clement, such as a splendid facility pottery at the reception, as well as eclectic collection of pottery, handmade by the artist Pascale Girardin.

 

A private dining room in warm tones of gray, gold and lavender, sleeps up to 12 people. Painted silks panels envelop the room.

 

The name Clement Restaurant

The choice of the restaurant's name follows the tradition of naming Peninsula hotel restaurants by their leaders who had an exceptional career loyal service to The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited (HSH). This restaurant was named after Clement Kwok King Man, who joined HSH as a Managing Director and Head of Group Management in 2002.

 

Bar Clement

Guests can enjoy cocktails including Ink and Dagger, composed of Tanqueray, blackberries, leaves and cardamom Q Soda and Sassafras Cobbler, composed of Dickel Rye, sassafras leaves and pickled blueberries. The bar can accommodate up to 35 people.

Clement offers daily breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30, lunch from 12 noon to 14:30 and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday from 17:30 to 22h and Sunday brunches from 11:30 to 14:30.
