A host of unique / unusual adventures opening the doors to the most iconic experiences of southern California!
Throughout the summer, The Peninsula Beverly Hills will add three new activities to its discovery program The Peninsula Academy, which will delight guests of all ages. They can choose between an exclusive tour with artist Alexandre Renoir, the great grand son of famous French Impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir, a carriage ride crystal in Beverly Hills or a fishing trip with the Executive Chef Hotel. The Peninsula Academy was created to offer guests introductions to culture, lifestyle, cooking, history or in art through personalized activities. The Peninsula Beverly Hills meticulously organized its programs based on the best local guides and partners, and to discover the city thanks to exclusive activities.
2014 Program of The Peninsula Beverly Hills Academy:
"Beverly Hills Princess for a Day"
The day begins with a magical ride in a carriage exceptional jeweled and diamonds. Parents and children who participate will discover magical places before returning to the hotel for the famous Tea Time.
"An Afternoon with Renoir in Beverly Hills"
The activity includes several visits to art galleries of Beverly Hills followed by a private art lessons with Alexandre Renoir, the great grand son of famous Impressionist artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Guests will then have the privilege to speak with Alexandre Renoir over tea at the hotel.
"The Gone Fishing with Chef '
The guests begin with a half day of fishing with the Executive Chef David Codney aboard a boat. Afterwards, they can enjoy a four-course dinner and exclusively prepared by Chef Codney with the catch of the day at The Belvedere restaurant.
"Behind the Scenes at a Hollywood Studio"
This private tour will be followed by a stop at the Warner Bross shop where guests can enjoy a $ 100 gift card (about 74 €). A gourmet picnic will be served their famous Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
"The Fly Away to Malibu Wine Country"
This activity provides an overall view of Los Angeles with a helicopter ride that will transport guests to southern California for a private wine tasting and a picnic lunch served under the oak trees.
"From Palaces to Disney Movie Hall"
A guided tour of the iconic landmarks of Los Angeles will be in the company of an expert historian architecture, followed by a gourmet picnic in the new Grand Park, located in the heart of the city. Younger guests will be invited in The Peninsula Beverly Hills kitchens to create, cook and decorate cupcakes and cookies with the Pastry Chef. Children can then take toques and aprons and a souvenir photo album.
