RELAX THIS SUMMER WITH THE OCEAN-FRESH FLAVOURS OF SUMPTUOUS SEAFOOD DELICACIES AT FELIX AND THE VERANDAH

Seafood is a delight for the palate at any time of year, but ocean-fresh flavours really come into their own when the temperature rises during summertime. Celebrating the fruits of the sea – so beloved by Hongkongers – The Peninsula is offering a mouth-watering selection of sumptuous seafood this summer at its spectacular 28th-floor restaurant Felix and all-day fine buffet destination The Verandah.

 

At Felix, The Peninsula’s iconic, avant-garde restaurant-bar created by legendary French designer Philippe Starck, guests can enjoy the Ocean-to-Table Felix experience – a seasonal menu overflowing with jet-fresh seafood prepared in typically innovative Modern European style. Available from now until 31 July 2018, the five-course menu is priced at HK$ 1,228*, and features a variety of colourful ingredients bursting with light and citrus flavours that are perfect for the season.

 

The menu begins with refreshing Obsiblue prawn ceviche with avocado and tomato salsa, followed by King crab leg with colourful cauliflower and tarragon vinaigrette. Next comes the perfectly Pan-seared cod with coco beans and chorizo ragout, before a choice of mains: Steamed Dover sole with variations of zucchini and white wine cream, or, for those craving a richer dish, Slow-cooked pork belly with trio of baby carrots and white balsamic jus. A dessert of Exotic fruit minestrone with blood orange sorbet provides a fitting end to a memorable meal.

 

At The Verandah, a new collection of seafood dishes is available from 3 July to 31 August 2018 on a rotational basis as part of the fine buffet experience.

 

Among the buffet’s highlights are: Slow-cooked Scottish salmon on bell pepper and avocado vinaigrette, a refreshing Crab meat and pomelo salad, the rich Smoked haddock chowder, a creamy Scallop mornay, crispy Salted cod brandade, the zesty Snapper piccata, a traditional Spanish paella, the silky Shrimp bisque; a hearty Tuna pasta salad, and Seafood baked in Portuguese sauce.

 

The buffet experience is priced starting from HK$ 498* for adults; and HK$ 398* for children aged 3 – 11.
