On March 3 and 17, 2017 at The Peninsula Manila Spices restaurant, Thai Specialty Chef Phaithoon Atthasarn will transport diners down Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River, providing lovers of Thai cuisine the unique opportunity to discover the key to one of Asia’s most extraordinary culinary traditions during the opening salvo to the 2017 Peninsula Academy Cooking Class Series – “Thailand on my Plate.”
Khun Phaithoon Atthasarn will prepare and demonstrate in simple and easy-to-follow steps how to whip up three authentic home-style dishes that are a balance of Thai flavors, textures and colors: Som Tam (Green papaya salad), Penang Goong (Dried red prawn Penang curry in coconut milk) and Khao Niao Mamuang (Sticky rice with mango).
The class will be held on March 3 and 17, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Spices pavilion.
The cost per person is P 2,017 nett and covers The Peninsula Academy Cooking Class, a traditional Thai-style family dinner in Spices, The Peninsula Academy apron, and a special gift.
