It was announced a couple of months ago that Michelin Guide will introduce its Thailand guide later this year, a news that has brought excitement to all food connoisseurs in Thailand. The Peninsula Bangkok proudly brings the Michelin-starred dining experience to diners ahead of time. From 19 to 21 June, Mei Jiang will welcome one Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Leung from Spring Moon Chinese restaurant at the legendary Peninsula Hong Kong as a Guest Chef to present his signature Cantonese dishes for lunch and dinner.
One of the eight famed culinary traditions of China, Cantonese cuisine is feted around the globe for its distinctive flavours and skilful preparation techniques. Chinese Cuisine Executive Chef Jackie Ho of Mei Jiang, who cooks and presents authentic Cantonese dishes to his guests at Mei Jiang, invites Chinese cuisine enthusiasts to a limited-time Chinese cuisine collaboration between Mei Jiang and one-Michelin-starred Spring Moon from The Peninsula Hong Kong. Only during these three days, diners will be delighted by Chef Leung’s signature dishes from soup to wok-fried dishes such as Braised Half Duck stuffed with assorted Meat, Mushrooms, Beans and Salty Eggs, Pan-fried Abalone with supreme soy sauce, and Scrambled Eggs with shredded Shrimps, Crab Meat and Bean Sprouts, all cooked in a way that preserves their authenticity.
A special set dinner menu by Chef Gordon Leung who earned a star in the 2017 edition of the coveted Michelin Guide – Hong Kong is available for dinner while an a la carte menu of his selected dishes is available for lunch but only for a limited time from 19 – 21 June 2017 at Mei Jiang, The Peninsula Bangkok.
