On February 20, 2018, The Peninsula Tokyo was named a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, one of only four in the capital to receive the coveted ranking in the publisher’s annual announcement of the world’s finest properties. In addition, the hotel’s Peninsula Spa received Forbes Five-Star status for the fourth year in a row, one of only two in Tokyo. Five-Star recognition is reserved for exceptional hotels, restaurants and spas that provide a memorable experience through virtually flawless service, the finest amenities, and comfort born from craftsmanship in design. The Peninsula Tokyo joins its sister hotels in Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, Paris and Bangkok, making The Peninsula the highest Forbes Travel Guide five-star rated hotel group in the world.
